About Clean Shores
Clean Beaches, Healthy Oceans
Clean Shores is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Gloucester, Massachusetts, dedicated to fighting ocean pollution. We use blue technologies, which are innovative marine debris intervention devices that will help remove waste from our beaches and oceans without harming the environment. Our current initiative is to acquire our first BeBot—an eco-friendly, beach-cleaning robot that will help maintain clean, healthy shorelines in the Gloucester, Massachusetts area. Eventually, our goal is to have enough BeBots to clean the whole New England coastline (plus New York and New Jersey).

Seaside Sustainability's mission is to advocate, educate, and deliver tangible solutions to advance environmental stewardship. Seaside’s programs educate people of all ages about the critical issues that threaten our environment promoting best practices for sustainability and inspire meaningful advocacy and hands-on action.

A long-time educator and brings almost 30 years of experience in environmental and experiential education. As the founder of Seaside Sustainability, Green Scholars, National STEM Honor Society and Clean Shores, he has been identified as a national leader, garnering dozens of local, state, and national awards.
Valentina Romero
Data Analyst and Software Engineering student with experience in project management, research, and team leadership. She led the Clean Shores initiative as Co-Project Manager, where she oversaw key strategies and milestones to support the project’s launch. Her work reflects a strong dedication to sustainability and marine pollution awareness.

A market researcher at Seaside Sustainability, bringing over two years of experience in research and data analysis with a focus on environmental innovation.
